COEM WILL ALSO BE AT THE “CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE OF EUROPE”

The “New Challenges for the ecological transition of the ceramics industry” conference is scheduled for Saturday 19 February at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Association. It will be attended by COEM S.p.A.’s Elisa Tonelli, who will be the speaker representing the ceramics industry, together with other colleagues from the ceramics supply chain, as well as the world of academia and politics.

The conference is part of a cycle entitled “Conference on the Future of Europe” jointly organised by the European Commission and the European Parliament. It consists of a series of debates and discussions aimed at shaping the future of our continent, starting by listening to people from across Europe. The initiative is a unique opportunity for European citizens to debate on Europe’s challenges and priorities, no matter where they come from or what they do. The fight against climate change is one of the main issues under discussion.
The Italian ceramics industry has been working and investing in environmental and social sustainability for some time now. This conference aims at raising awareness, both locally and internationally, of this highly relevant and crucial reality.
